Leaving the bright lights and busy streets of Bristol behind, the open roads of the South West lead the way to a stylish, elegant and unique retreat situated on the cliffs of the Cornish coast...The Headland Hotel at Newquay.
Our welcoming committee promptly greeted us...
The first night started with a civilised meal and a stroll along the coastal path...
...and it quickly descended into drunken shenanigans.

The morning after the night before...
Slowly and surely we managed to pull ourselves together and get show ready for the annual Newquay dog show where Taskin and Lindy would take on the locals who had been washed, dried and preened (unlike our 2 who turned up, upped their charm and claimed their prizes!).

Burt's 'soccer mum' pep-talk provided dividends with Lindy claiming 3rd...
Lusty Glaze was the venue of choice to celebrate the awards...
After such victory and glory from the dog show and the excitement from the previous night's festivities, a relaxing evening of rest and relaxation was prescribed...
